No jargon and no surprises. Here's exactly what happens, what we'll need from you, and what happens after launch.

§ 01 · The steps

Call, design, build, live.

You'll deal with the same developer at every step, and you'll see your site before anything goes live.

    A short call

    We talk about your business, your customers and what the site needs to do. You get a clear price afterwards.

  2. 02 · Design

    We design it

    We design your home page first and share it with you. You tell us what to change until it feels right.

  3. 03 · Build

    We build it

    We hand-code every page, add your text and photos, and test it on phones, tablets and desktops.

  4. 04 · Live

    You go live

    We connect your domain and launch. After that, hosting, security and edits are looked after.

How long it takes

Most sites go live within 3 to 4 weeks of the first call. The biggest factor is how quickly we receive your text and photos, so the sooner they arrive, the sooner you launch.

§ 02 · What you'll send us

You know your business. We'll handle the rest.

We'll send you a simple outline of what each page needs, so you're never staring at a blank page. Then we'll need:

  • Your logo, if you have one.
  • The text for each page, in your own words.
  • Photos of your work, your place or your team. Your own photos almost always work best.
  • Your services and prices.
  • Details of your domain name, if you already have one.
  • A link to your booking tool, if you use one.
§ 03 · Edits and support

After launch, we're still here.

Message us any time, and we'll reply within 24 hours.

Included

Changes to existing text or images within the sections we've built. New prices, new photos, new opening hours or a rewritten paragraph. Send them one request at a time.

Quoted first

New pages, new sections, layout changes and new features. You'll get a price before any work starts.

§ 04 · Who owns what

Your content is yours. Always.

Our plans work like a lease. That's how we keep the monthly price low, and here's exactly what it means.

  • Your content

    Your text, photos, logo and anything else you give us stay yours, whatever happens.

  • Design and code

    While you're on a plan, the design, code and hosting belong to Design to Scale Ltd and are provided as part of your plan.

    Leased

  • Buying it outright

    After the 12-month minimum term, you can buy the full package of files for £499 (+VAT).

    Optional

  • Leaving without buying

    You get the HTML of your pages, without the styling, plus all your images and files, so your content goes with you.

    No lock-in on content
